Community Guidelines & Content Moderation Policy

Makerio is designed to be a useful and professional platform for founders, makers, and businesses.

To keep Makerio safe and useful, we do not allow certain types of content or activity.

1. Prohibited Content

The following content is not allowed on Makerio:

Adult or sexually explicit content.
Pornographic material or services.
Gambling, betting, or gambling-related promotions.
Illegal goods, services, or activities.
Fraud, scams, or deceptive offers.
Malware, malicious software, or harmful code.
Spam or abusive promotional content.
Hate speech or content targeting people based on protected characteristics.
Threats, harassment, or abusive behavior.
Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
Impersonation or misleading representation.
Content designed to manipulate, exploit, or harm other users.

2. Word and Content Restrictions

Makerio uses restrictions on certain prohibited words and terms to help prevent inappropriate content from being published.

These restrictions are one part of our overall moderation process and are not represented as an automatic detection system for every type of prohibited content.

3. Moderation and Enforcement

Makerio may review content and accounts to enforce these guidelines.

When prohibited or violating content is identified, Makerio may:

Review the content.
Remove or permanently delete the post.
Restrict or suspend the account.
Take other appropriate action when necessary.

The action taken may depend on the severity and circumstances of the violation.

4. Administrative Review

Content that is flagged or identified as potentially violating these guidelines may be reviewed by Makerio administrators.

Following review, the administrator may approve the content, remove or permanently delete it, or take action against the associated account when appropriate.

5. No Guarantee of Automatic Detection

While Makerio uses technical restrictions and moderation controls, these controls do not automatically identify every type of prohibited content.

Makerio may rely on administrative review and other moderation measures to identify and address violations.

6. Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these guidelines as Makerio evolves and as new types of abuse or prohibited activity are identified.
