1. About Makerio

Makerio is a platform for founders, makers, and businesses to share product updates, build public profiles, publish posts, and promote their products.

Makerio may provide free and paid features, including sponsored promotional placements.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and using Makerio.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity performed through your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Makerio lawfully and responsibly.

You must not use Makerio to:

Publish illegal or unlawful content.
Promote adult or sexually explicit content.
Promote gambling, betting, or gambling-related services.
Promote scams, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive services.
Publish spam or misleading promotional content.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Publish hateful or discriminatory content.
Upload malicious software, harmful code, or security threats.
Impersonate another person, company, or organization.
Infringe another person’s intellectual property or other rights.
Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the platform.
Circumvent Makerio’s security, moderation, or access controls.

4. User Content

You are responsible for the content you publish on Makerio, including posts, project information, images, links, and other materials.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions to publish the content you submit.

By publishing content on Makerio, you grant Makerio permission to display and distribute that content as necessary to operate and promote the platform.

You retain ownership of your original content.

5. Content Moderation

Makerio may review, restrict, edit, remove, or delete content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Makerio may also suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate our rules.

We may take action without prior notice when necessary to protect users, the platform, or third parties.

6. Sponsored Content

Makerio may offer paid promotional placements for projects and products.

Paid sponsored content will be clearly identified as sponsored.

Purchasing a sponsored placement does not guarantee traffic, sales, search rankings, AI visibility, engagement, or any specific business result.

7. Payments

Certain Makerio services may require payment.

Prices and payment terms will be displayed before purchase.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. By purchasing a paid service, you agree to the applicable payment provider’s terms and policies.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

All sponsorship sales are final and non-refundable once the sponsorship or related production work has begun.

Because sponsorship placements reserve dedicated promotional space and may require immediate production work, cancellations after work has begun are generally not eligible for a refund.

Makerio reserves the right to remove projects or sponsorships that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Such removal does not entitle the customer to a refund where the sponsorship or production work has already begun.

9. Third-Party Links

Makerio may contain links to third-party websites and services.

Makerio is not responsible for the availability, security, content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.

10. Intellectual Property

The Makerio name, branding, website design, software, and other Makerio-owned materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute Makerio-owned materials without permission.

11. Account Suspension or Termination

Makerio may suspend or terminate an account if we believe the account has violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or poses a risk to the platform or other users.

You may stop using Makerio at any time.

12. Disclaimer

Makerio is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or that use of Makerio will produce a particular result.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Makerio and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the platform.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, we may update the “Last Updated” date on this page.

Continued use of Makerio after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
